Subject: Partnership review - please could you forward this to all GPs in your LMC Area - we want their views.

Dear LMC Colleague

We are now reaching the final stages of the partnership review.

Many LMCs have contributed to the review with local discussions, comments and feedback all of which has been really helpful and thank you for your support.

One key issue is the workforce and we are seeking the views of frontline GPs. It would be really helpful if you could circulate the email below to your GP Constituents.

Dear Colleague.

Over the last few months the GP Partnership Review has been meeting GPs across the country to listen to the challenges that the profession faces. There is a significant issue with the GP workforce, despite a record number of GP Trainees the number of partners is decreasing. We would like to gain a better understanding of how this affects those in the early, middle or later part of a GPā€™s career, and also what the potential solutions might be.

It would be helpful if you could take 10 minutes to complete this simple survey, it may help you and it will help the profession to provide us with more evidence to support the recommendations that we intend to make to the Secretary of State and the Chief Executive of the NHS in our final report at the end of the year.

The survey will close on Monday 3rd December.

Best wishes

Nigel
